Ashcroft EI Industrial Bimetal Thermometer

The Ashcroft® EI is an industrial bimetal dial thermometer with an external adjustment, for local temperature indication on process piping, vessels and equipment. A silicone-dampened bimetal coil in the stem drives the pointer directly, with no power supply, capillary or liquid column, and the all-welded, hermetically sealed stainless steel case keeps out moisture, preventing interior corrosion and coil freeze-up. Accuracy is ±1% of span, with ranges from -100/100°F to 200/1000°F (-50/50°C to 100/500°C).

Three connection locations are offered: rear (back), lower (bottom) and Everyangle™, which lets you turn the dial and set the stem angle so the thermometer reads from where you stand. If a reading drifts, a technician can recalibrate it from the back of the case with a small wrench, screwdriver or coin. Where field adjustment should not be possible, choose the tamper-resistant Ashcroft CI bimetal thermometer; for heavy vibration, the silicone-filled Ashcroft EL bimetal thermometer.
