Ashcroft CI Industrial Bimetal Thermometer

The Ashcroft® CI is the tamper-resistant model in Ashcroft’s industrial bimetal thermometer line. It has no external adjustment and no pointer reset, so the calibration set at the factory can’t be changed from outside the case; Ashcroft designed it for applications where adjustment or reset is not wanted. A silicone-dampened bimetal coil drives the pointer with no power supply or capillary, inside an all-welded, hermetically sealed 304 stainless steel case. Accuracy is ±1% of span, with ranges from -100/100°F to 200/1000°F (-50/50°C to 100/500°C).

The CI comes in 2-, 3- and 5-inch dials. The 3- and 5-inch models mount by a fixed 1/2 NPT connection in the rear (back) or lower (bottom) location, with a 1/4 NPT rear connection as an option. The compact 2-inch is rear-connected, with a 1/4 NPT thread, a plain stem or a pointed stem.
