The Ray Snubbers™ Model 060B, 060S, and 060SS pressure snubbers are a simple, cost effective solution to the damaging pulsations, surges, and shocks that affect gauges and other sensitive pressure instruments. These pulsation dampeners have a rugged piston moving within the chamber to kick out sediment, and pipe scale which can clog needle valves, filters, porous metal discs, and protect expensive equipment. To accommodate variations in viscosities, each Ray™ pressure snubber is delivered with three easily changed, clearly marked, different sized pistons for use with different types of media. Maintenance is minimal because the piston is the only moving part, and there are no parts that need regular cleaning or replacement.
