Titan YS 81-SS Y Strainer, Wye Type Stainless Steel Strainer, Threaded End, ASME Class 600
The Titan YS81-SS strainer offers superior performance for chemical, food, and pharmaceutical applications. Furthermore, this threaded wye-type strainer features ASTM A351 GR. CF8M stainless steel construction. Consequently, it achieves an impressive ASME Class 600 rating of 1440 PSI WOG at 100°F.
Precision-machined screen seats prevent debris bypass in both body and cap. The large body design provides an open area 2.5 times larger than standard pipeline sizes.
Key Specifications of the Titan YS81-SS Strainer:
- Available sizes: ¼” through 3″
- Maximum temperature rating: 1000°F for continuous service
- Stainless steel straining element
- Optional socket weld blow-off connection
- Flow coefficient (Cv) range: 0.7 to 160
- Screen options: 1/16″ (41% open area) or 1/32″ (28% open area)
The YS81-SS excels in high-temperature environments up to 1000°F. Moreover, its stainless steel construction ensures optimal performance in corrosive conditions. Sizes 2½” and 3″ include standard bolted covers. Meanwhile, sizes ¼” to 1½” feature standard cap covers for versatile installation options.
