Titan YS 81-CS Y Strainer, Wye Type Carbon Steel Strainer, Threaded End, ASME Class 600
The Titan YS81-CS strainer delivers rugged performance for demanding petrochemical applications. This threaded wye-type strainer features ASTM A216 GR. WCB carbon steel construction, achieving an impressive ASME Class 600 rating of 1480 PSI WOG at 100°F.
Available in sizes from ¼” through 3″ with flow coefficients (Cv) from 0.7 to 160, the YS81-CS offers screen options of 1/16″ (41% open area) or 1/32″ (28% open area) and an optional socket weld blow-off connection. Sizes 2½” and 3″ come with standard bolted covers, and sizes ¼” to 1½” feature standard cap covers, making it ideal for various industrial applications.

- Rugged, high quality design with reinforced screens and heavy gauge to prevent damage to the straining element in high-pressure applications
- Large body, and sizeable straining element provide excellent open area ratios that are typically 2 1/2 times larger than corresponding pipeline
- Precision machined screen seats in both the body and the cap for accurate positioning
- Unit can be fitted with a blow-down valve which facilitates cleaning of the straining element
- Epoxy painted to resist rust and corrosion
- Encapsulated 'CG' style cover gasket provides additional radial strength to prevent gasket blowout, all while acting as a compression stop

- Carbon steel provides high resistance to shock, vibration, piping strains, and fire and freezing hazards
- Carbon steel performs exceptionally well in high temperatures, up to 800°F in continuous service
