Titan YS 80S-SS Y Strainer, Wye Type Stainless Steel Strainer, Socket Weld End, ASME Class 300
The Titan Flow Control Model YS80S-SS is an ASME Class 300 stainless steel Wye Type Y Strainer with socket weld ends. The YS80S-SS has a large straining capacity, precision machined seats, and the threaded end cap has straight threads for easy cap removal. Titan YS Model Y Strainers are installed on piping systems to protect pumps, meters, spray nozzles, compressors, turbines, and other expensive equipment.

- Large body, and sizeable straining element provide excellent open area ratios that are typically 2 1/2 times larger than corresponding pipeline
- Precision machined screen seats in both the body and the cap for accurate positioning
- Unit can be fitted with a blow-down valve which facilitates cleaning of the straining element

- Stainless steel is commonly specified for high temperature service, up to 1000°F in continuous service
