Titan YS 64-SS Y Strainer, Wye Type Stainless Steel Strainer, Flanged End, ASME Class 600
The Titan Flow Control Model YS64-SS is an epoxy painted ASME Class 600 stainless steel Wye Type Y Strainer with flanged ends. The YS64-SS has a new design with gauge taps furnished with a plug on both the inlet and outlet sides, a large straining capacity, precision machined seats, self-cleaning capability, and optional cover designs. The stainless steel body is commonly used in high temperature services. Titan YS Model Y Strainers are installed on piping systems to protect pumps, meters, spray nozzles, compressors, turbines, and other expensive equipment.
Features
- Gauge taps furnished with a plug on both the inlet and outlet sides of sizes 2" - 12", which allow for easy installation of pressure gauges
- Large body, and sizeable straining element provide excellent open area ratios that are typically 2 1/2 times larger than corresponding pipeline
- Precision machined screen seats in both the body and the cap for accurate positioning
- Unit can be fitted with a blow-down valve which facilitates cleaning of the straining element
- Optional design cover options including swing, clamp, and hinge type covers
