Titan YS 62-SS Y Strainer, Wye Type Stainless Steel Strainer, Flanged End, ASME Class 300
The Titan Flow Control YS 62-SS stainless steel Y strainer delivers high-pressure filtration for demanding industrial applications. This ASME Class 300 unit features 316 stainless steel construction rated for 720 PSI at 100°F. The raised-face flanged ends meet ASME B16.5 standards. Additionally, stainless steel construction handles continuous service temperatures up to 1000°F.
Furthermore, gauge taps with plugs on inlet and outlet sides enable easy pressure monitoring on sizes 2″ through 12″. The large straining element provides 2.5 times more filtration area than standard pipeline sizes. Precision-machined screen seats ensure accurate positioning during reassembly. Moreover, optional cover designs include swing, clamp, and hinge types.
The strainer protects pumps, meters, spray nozzles, compressors, and turbines from debris damage in high-pressure systems. Epoxy painted finish provides additional corrosion protection. Therefore, the YS 62-SS excels in high-temperature, high-pressure corrosive environments. Consequently, it serves chemical, food, and pharmaceutical industries requiring superior pressure ratings.
