The Titan Flow Control Model YS58-D-GG is an epoxy painted ASME Class 300 ductile iron Wye type Y strainer with grooved ends. The YS58-D-GG has a durable heavy wall construction of lead free ductile iron providing high strength, and long service life. This model has a large body and sizeable straining element providing excellent open area ratios, and can be fitted with a blow-down valve with a tapped NPT blow-off connection to allow cleaning of the straining element. The Titan-FCI YS58-D-GG can be provided with NSF / ASME, and FDA approved epoxy coatings making it suitable for potable water, and food contact applications.
