Titan YS 56-BZ Y Strainer, Wye Type Cast Bronze Strainer, Solder End, ASME Class 125
The Titan Flow Control Model YS56-BZ is an ASME Class 125 cast bronze Wye Type Y strainer with solder ends. The YS56-BZ has a large straining capacity, precision machined seats, and the threaded cap has straight threads for easy cap removal. Titan YS Model Y Strainers are installed on piping systems to protect pumps, meters, spray nozzles, compressors, turbines, and other expensive equipment.
Features
- Large body, and sizable straining element provide excellent open area ratios that are typically 2 1/2 times larger than corresponding pipeline
- Precision machined screen seats in both the body and the cap for accurate positioning
- Unit can be fitted with a blow-down valve which facilitates cleaning of the straining element
- Straight threads on cap allow for easy cap removal for cleaning and proper reassembly alignment
