Titan YS 54-AB Y Strainer, Wye Type Aluminum Bronze Strainer, Flanged End, ASME Class 150
The Titan Flow Control Model YS54-AB is an ASME Class 150 aluminum bronze Wye Type Y Strainer with flanged ends. The YS54-AB has aluminum bronze body material which is stronger and less likely to corrode than other bronze alloys, convenient gauge taps with a plug on both inlet and outlet sides, precision machined seats, self-cleaning capability, and a large straining capacity. The Titan YS54-AB Y Strainers are the preferred choice for sea water and other applications where corrosion is a concern, and meets requirements for lead free use in potable water systems. Titan YS Model Y Strainers are installed on piping systems to protect pumps, meters, spray nozzles, compressors, turbines, and other expensive equipment.
