Titan DS 696-AB Aluminum Bronze Duplex Basket Strainer, Dual Ball Type, 3-Piece Body, Flanged End, ASME Class 150

The Titan Flow Control Model DS696-AB is an ASME Class 150 aluminum bronze dual ball type duplex basket strainer with a three-piece body, and flanged ends. Aluminum bronze is stronger and less likely to corrode making it a preferred choice for sea water and other applications. This dual-ball diverter design has two stainless steel balls that efficiently divert the pipeline flow from one basket chamber to the other. This allows each chamber to to be isolated separately to be serviced. The Titan-FCI DS696-AB features a low torque, easy to operate handle that does not require a gearbox, and the handle position clearly indicates which basket is in service. This model duplex basket strainer can be fitted with virtually any configuration of perforation or mesh lined straining element. Straining elements can also be constructed from special materials.
