The Titan Flow Control Model CV90-DI is an ASME Class 150 / 300 center guided, wafer type, silent check valve with a ductile iron body. This model has straightening vanes that reduce turbulence in incoming flow, thus minimizing factors that could result in premature valve failure. The Titan FCI CV90-DI has minimal head loss due to a large cross-sectional area which exceeds that of the adjacent pipeline. It has a spring-loaded, center guided disc designed with low cracking pressure which reduces the amount of energy required to open the valve. Shut-off on the CV90-DI is achieved via the fully automatic, spring assisted disc that closes with nearly zero flow velocity. The lightweight, center guided disc design creates a positive shut-off prior to flow reversal which helps keep surges to a minimum.
