Titan CV 51-CS Carbon Steel Center Guided Globe Type Silent Check Valve, Raised Face Flanged Ends, ASME Class 150
The Titan Flow Control Model CV51-CS is an ASME Class 150, epoxy painted carbon steel, center guided globe type, silent check valve with raised face flanged ends. The CV51-CS has straightening vanes that reduce turbulence, noise, vibration, erosion, cavitations, and other factors that could result in premature valve failure. These vanes also reduce head loss, and help create laminar flow. The Titan-FCI CV51-CS has a quick closure reducing water hammer. The fully automatic, spring assisted disc closes at near zero flow capacity, and the center guided disc creates a positive shut-off to prevent slamming. A butterfly valve can be installed directly to the outlet side of the valve without extra piping.
