Titan BS 86-CS Heavy Duty Carbon Steel Simplex Basket Strainer, Raised Face Flanged End, ASME Class 300

The Titan Flow Control Model BS86-CS is an ASME Class 300 epoxy painted carbon steel heavy duty simplex basket strainer with exceptional wall thickness for applications that have higher temperature, and pressure requirements. Pressure loss is minimized by providing a slanted straining element design, and straight flow path. Plugged NPT taps are provided near the inlet and outlet on both sides allowing for the quick mounting of pressure gauges to monitor pressure loss. With its large body and sizeable straining element, the Titan-FCI BS86-CS has the ability to store large quantities of debris without affecting pressure loss, thus maximizing time between servicing. Numerous straining elements are available for this model in a variety of perforations, meshes, and materials. The BS86-CS has a self-cleaning option utilizing a modified straining element.
