The Titan Flow Control Model BS25-CI is an ASME Class 125 cast iron simplex basket strainer with threaded ends, and a quick-open cover for easy maintenance. This model comes standard with either a knob style or clamp style quick-open cover depending on the size of the basket strainer, but it can be specified with a bolted cover. The BS25-CI has a large body with sizeable straining element, and features a machined seat with o-ring that enables fine filtrations down to 40 microns. In comparison to Wye Strainers, basket strainers are commonly used in pipelines where debris loading is high, and the collection of solids is required. Simplex basket strainers from Titan FCI can be installed in a series to provide more effective filtration of unwanted debris.
