Rotork CMA CMR Multi-Turn Precision Modulating Actuator
The Rotork CMA CMR is an all-electric multi-turn precision modulating actuator engineered for control valve and pump applications requiring exact position control with continuous modulation duty. With up to 45 Nm (400 lbf.in) rated torque and accuracy of 0.1% using a 4 to 20 mA control signal, the CMR covers multi-turn globe valves, gate-style throttling valves, dosing pumps, and other applications where rotary multi-turn actuation is required.
CMR actuators use a brushless DC motor with encoder feedback technology for contactless, maintenance-free position sensing. The permanently lubricated drive train and wide ambient temperature range (-30 to 70 deg C / -22 to 158 deg F) make CMR suitable for harsh outdoor and process environments, and any-orientation mounting simplifies retrofit installation. For applications requiring higher quarter-turn torque output, the CMR-250-GBX variant pairs the CMR drive with a spur gearbox.
