Rotork CMA CML Linear Precision Modulating Actuator

The Rotork CMA CML is an all-electric linear precision modulating actuator engineered for control valve and pump applications that demand exact position control and continuous modulation. With up to 20 kN (4,500 lbf) seating thrust and accuracy of 0.1% using a 4 to 20 mA control signal, the CML covers sliding-stem globe valves, throttling valves, metering pumps, and dosing equipment with a single electric platform – eliminating the compressed-air supply, instrument tubing, and positioner overhead of pneumatic alternatives.

CML actuators use a brushless DC motor with encoder technology for contactless, maintenance-free position feedback. The drivetrain is permanently lubricated and field-serviceable, with adjustable speed control and a manual override standard. Less than 1 watt of standby power consumption makes CML suitable for solar and remote-power installations. The CML range includes CML100/250 and CML750 variants for standard control-valve service; for larger control valves and higher pressure ratings, the high-performance CML-1500 and CML-3000 models provide expanded thrust and modulation capability.
