Mercer Valve 9500 Series Modulating Pilot Operated Safety Relief Valves, Pressure Relief Valves (PRV)
The Mercer 9500 Series Modulating Pilot Operating Safety Relief Valves are “State of the Art” in pilot operated pressure relief valves. Mercer Valve Company’s Modulating Pilot is designed to gradually open the main valve in response to the system overpressure. This is very different from the snap action pilot where the main valve is abruptly “snapped” open, then closed. Modulating pilot valves produce far less shock on the system, and there is considerably less wear and tear on the main valve components.
