Mercer Valve 9100 Series Threaded Safety Relief Valves, Pressure Relief Valves (PRV)

The Mercer 9100 Series Model 20 is a specialized, high-pressure safety relief valve (PRV) engineered exclusively for CNG and extreme-pressure industrial applications. Designed to operate flawlessly in environments from 3,000 psi up to 8,700 psi, the Model 20 utilizes Mercer’s patented “Auto Seat Technology”® to deliver a longer lifecycle, less leakage, and more consistent set pressures than competing high-pressure valves.

Equipped with a soft seat and a field-proven lip seal design, the 9100 Series Model 20 reduces dangerous product loss in severe service conditions. As an authorized supplier, BriceBarclay is ready to help you configure and quote the exact high-pressure PRV your facility requires today.

Features

  • Designed with "Auto Seat Technology"
  • Consistent set pressures allowing repeatable uses without repair or resetting
  • Open, Close, Seat and Seal
  • Fully guided disk keeps the disk properly aligned, opening and closing, helping to reseat the valve
  • Mechanical stop prevents wear on parts and controls valve lift
  • Low rated and fully guided spring allows for more consistent set pressures from pop to pop
  • Pop action relief allows valve to go to full lift at set pressure. Helps with DOT regulated applications
  • Built in accordance with the requirements of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code. Sec. VIII Div. 1
  • Threaded orifices from "C" through "K"
  • Non-rising stems allowing valves to be installed in small areas

Applications

  • Specialty gases
  • Compressors
  • Separators
  • Transmission
  • Gathering lines
  • Other production processes
