Jerguson No. 70BL and 70XL Series Valves are designed for use with reflex or transparent flat glass gages, instrument piping, and for other applications requiring a rugged, lightweight valve. All models in this series have pressure and temperature ratings to ANSI Class 600 flange standards. The yoke supports the stem away from the valve body so the threaded portion of the stem is unaffected by heat, and does not come in contact with the process fluids. The regrindable, renewable seat can be easily removed or replaced with a socket wrench. All Series 70BL /70XL liquid level valves are equipped with a stainless steel ballcheck upstream from the seat to instantly shut off flow in case of gage glass breakage.

Features

  • All Series 70BL /70XL valves have low emissions packing, and certified to API 624
  • OS&Y: yoke supports the stem away from valve body so the threaded portion of the backseating stem is unaffected by heat, and does not come in contact with process fluids
  • Seat may be removed or replaced with a 5/8″ wrench
  • All 70BL /70XL Series valves are equipped with a stainless steel ballcheck upstream of the seat which instantly shuts off flow in case of gage glass breakage
  • Nos. 74BL /XL, and 77BL /XL have a union gage connection allowing gages to be turned any angle. Gage can be removed and serviced without removing the valve
  • Nos. 76BL /XL, and 77BL /XL connections are offset 7/8″ from the centerline of the vessel connections. Removing the plugs allows the interior glass gage to be swabbed without removing the gage.
