Jerguson No. 70 Series stainless steel liquid level valves are designed for use with reflex or transparent flat glass gages, instrument piping, and for other applications requiring a rugged valve. The pressure and temperature ratings for the Series 70 safety ballcheck valves are rated to ANSI 900 flange standards. The No. 73 has a straight pattern with non-union gage connection, the No. 74 has straight pattern with union gage connection, the No. 76 has an offset pattern with non-union gage connection, and the No. 77 has an offset pattern with union gage connection. This series of liquid level valve has a saturated steam rating of 1,500 WSP.

Features

  • OS&Y: yoke supports the stem away from the valve body so the threaded portion of the backseating stem is unaffected by the heat, and does not come in contact with process fluids, and can be repacked under pressure
  • Seat may be renewed by removing the seat with a 5/8″ socket wrench
  • Nos. 74, and 77 have a union gage connection allowing connected gages to be turned to any angle, also making it possible to remove the gage without removing the valves
  • Nos. 76, and 77 connections are offset 7/8″ from the centerline of vessel connections allowing the gage to be swabbed without removing
