Fairchild M10 Pressure Regulator

The Fairchild Model 10 precision pressure regulator delivers accurate, stable pneumatic control for instrument air and process loops that demand both capacity and repeatability. Its force-balance design plays the range spring against downstream pressure across the diaphragm assembly, while a supply valve balanced by a rolling diaphragm holds the setpoint essentially immune to swings in supply pressure. An aspirator tube compensates for downstream droop as flow demand changes, and a separate control chamber isolates the diaphragm from the main flow path to eliminate hunting and buzzing.

The aluminum body and housing carry 1/4″, 3/8″, or 1/2″ NPT pipe connections with tapped gauge ports, and the standard unit is built with Buna-N on Dacron diaphragms and brass and zinc-plated steel trim. For harsh or non-compatible media, a No Yellow Metals build is available, along with silicone or fluorocarbon elastomer options.

Fairchild offers the Model 10 in a wide set of factory variants: low bleed or no-bleed relieving trims when air consumption matters, a low flow option for improved response in small-volume circuits, an internal check valve that back-flows downstream pressure when supply is removed, and non-relieving construction for captive gases. Tamper-proof, screwdriver adjust, panel mount, and plunger-operated adjustments cover OEM and panel work, with BSPP or BSPT threads for international installations. Zinc-plated steel and 316 stainless steel mounting bracket kits are sold separately.
