The Eaton 9PX Lithium-ion Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) features a 6 kVA power rating, remote firmware upgrades, and comes in rackmount or tower for factors. This model has the same reliable features as the lead-acid UPS, including load segments that allow for prioritized shutdown, remote power on (RPO), remote on / off (ROO) and output relay ports that increase control capabilities.

The 9PX 6 kVA lithium-ion UPS is well-suited to small and medium data centers, edge computing nodes, server rooms, and colocation cabinets where set-it-and-forget-it power conditioning is critical. The lithium-ion battery technology delivers 8-10 years of service life – significantly longer than equivalent lead-acid systems – reducing battery replacement cycles and total cost of ownership.

  • Warranty: The 9PX lithium-ion UPS comes with a 5-year warranty which is 2.5x the warranty coverage of the 9PX lead-acid UPS
  • Runtime: The 9PX lithium-ion UPS provides 2-3x more runtime at full load compared to lead-acid batteries and offers up to four optional external battery modules
