Chemiquip 5460, 5500 High Pressure Limiting Valves, PLVs, Overpressure Protectors
The Chemiquip Model 5460 & 5500 adjustable automatic action Pressure Limiting Valves (PLVs) – Overpressure Protectors, is for use with liquid and gases to protect systems from over range at operating pressure up to 22,500 psi. The pressure limiting valve automatically shuts off pressure to the gauge if the pressure rises above the adjustable preset pressure, and automatically restores the instrument online when pressure falls below the preset value. When used in conjunction with a Chemiquip pressure snubber, the PLV assures positive, repeatable performance of valve, and gauge by protecting against surges, pulsations, and entrained solids inclusions.
