Chemiquip 255, 2550, 71620 Pressure Limiting Valves, PLVs, Overpressure Protectors

The Chemiquip Model 255, 2550, and 71620 Pressure Limiting Valves (PLVs) – Snubbers automatically shutoff pressure to the gauge if the pressure rises above the adjustable preset pressure, and automatically restores the instrument online when pressure falls below the pre-set value. Allows instruments of different ranges to be connected to a common manifold. The valve may be assembled with a snubber at inlet for complete pressure and surge or pulsation control. When used in conjunction with a Chemiquip pressure snubber, the PLV assures positive, repeatable performance of valve, and gauge by protecting against surges, pulsations, and entrained solids inclusions.
