Bifold FP12P Pneumatic Solenoid Valve

The Bifold FP12P is the highest-flow direct-acting pneumatic solenoid valve in the Bifold FP series, delivering 2.5 Cv flow capacity through 1/2 inch NPT and BSP port connections at a maximum operating pressure of 145 psi (10 bar). The FP12P is the right choice when actuator slewing speed and pilot-line flow capacity outweigh peak operating pressure – particularly large pneumatic actuators on quarter-turn and linear control valves where fast response time is critical.

FP12P typical applications include large pneumatic actuator pilot duty on pipeline isolation valves, fire-water deluge controls, large fire damper actuators, and process valve actuator and ESD pilot service. Note that the FP12P is rated to 50,000 cycles of demonstrated service life – well-suited to typical isolation and ESD pilot service, but not the high-cycle modulating-duty applications served by the smaller-flow FP03P, FP06P, or FP10P (each rated to 1,000,000 cycles). Bifold (a Rotork brand) qualifies all FP series valves to SIL 3 per IEC 61508 with 316L stainless steel construction standard.
