76-500 Series Apollo Ball Valve with Spring Return Handle

The Series 76-500 Apollo Ball Valves with Spring Return Handle is used when automatic control of fluid flow is required. The spring return mechanism ensures that the valve returns to its original position when the actuating force is removed. Apollo offers two options – Spring Return to Close (-01) or Spring Return to Open (-08).

The spring return handle is larger and delivers about three times the operating torque of a standard ball valve. The components of the spring return handle are constructed from A2076-316 stainless steel. The large handle format and comfortable vinyl grip help the operator maintain control during the operation of the valve. An optional 90° stem can be installed so the handle can be operated in the reverse.

Apollo manufactures this threaded, two-piece, standard port ball valve from Stainless Steel. The choice of stainless steel material in these valves makes them certified lead free and suitable for drinking water system components.

The Series 76-500 Apollo Ball Valves Stainless Steel Two-Piece have a standard port, female NPT threads, reinforced seats, adjustable packing gland, stainless steel lever and nut, and a mounting pad for easy actuator mounting. The 76-500 series has investment cast components, is available in sizes from 1/4″ to 1″, meets NACE MR0175 (2000) & NACE MR0103 (2012).
