The Apollo® 76F-HCA series is the stainless steel evolution of Apollo’s long-trusted 76F bronze hose-cap ball valve, developed in response to a growing class of applications where bronze and brass simply don’t hold up – data center liquid cooling, deionized-water systems, marine and coastal infrastructure, pharmaceutical and food and beverage process lines, aquatic and aquarium systems, and aggressive industrial and water-treatment service. Each valve ships with a captive 3/4 inch machined hose-thread protective cap on a stainless retaining chain – thread protection that keeps the discharge port clean between hose connections and a chain that prevents the cap from getting lost in the field. A CF8M investment-cast body and 316 stainless trim (ball, stem, retainer, gland, and lever) carry a 1,000 psig CWP rating, 125 psig saturated steam, vacuum service to 29 inches Hg, and a 500°F maximum operating temperature, with full-port construction to keep flow losses minimal. Inlet sizes are 1/2″, 3/4″, and 1″ in NPT, BSPP, or BSPT.
