Siphons

Siphons protect pressure instruments from the effects of hot pressure media such as steam, and also to reduce the effect of rapid pressure surges. Installed water-filled siphons prevent direct contact with steam, ensuring uncompromising pressure measurement and integrity of the sensing instrument. Siphons, a protective device, can increase the service life and extend the application sprectrum of pressure measuring instruments. Siphons can also be used in conjunction with diaphragm seals.
