BriceBarclay is a trusted distributor of Coriolis mass flow meters – the industry’s most accurate and repeatable instruments for measuring mass flow, volumetric flow, density, and fluid temperature in a single device. Coriolis meters are specified throughout oil and gas, chemical, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and custody-transfer applications where measurement uncertainty directly affects process quality, regulatory compliance, or financial reconciliation.
How Coriolis flow meters work: the process fluid enters the sensor and is split into two parallel flow tubes. A drive coil vibrates the tubes in opposition at their natural resonant frequency. As fluid flows through the vibrating tubes, the Coriolis effect induces a phase shift (Delta-T) between the inlet and outlet pickoff sine waves. That phase shift is directly proportional to the mass flow rate, while the resonant frequency tracks fluid density. The result is a single instrument that measures mass flow, volumetric flow, and density simultaneously with exceptional accuracy.
Our stocked and quote-to-order Coriolis mass flow meter inventory covers:
Liquid Coriolis meters for custody transfer, batching, and process control of hydrocarbons, chemicals, and water-based fluids
Gas Coriolis meters for natural gas, compressed gases, and high-accuracy steam measurement
Sanitary Coriolis meters with tri-clamp connections for food, beverage, and pharmaceutical applications
Compact and high-capacity sensors for flow rates from a few grams per minute to thousands of pounds per minute
