The CATCO Model 71-015A 6″ x 12″ heater enclosure package prevents freezing in 1″ or 2″ NPT Fisher Big Joe, 627, and 630 regulators. CATCO heater enclosure packages for valves and regulators are the most efficient form of freeze prevention on the market, and provide a much lower installation and operation cost than methanol injection methods. By heating the valve or regulator itself instead of heating the gas, you get much better heat transfer. This heater enclosure package model is natural gas fueled with either a 12 volt or a 120 volt startup, and is available with or without a shutoff valve and thermocouple.
