ARi's standard thermocouple line is used in applications where high reliability is a priority. The thermocouple line comes with the highest purity MgO insulation to yield maximum EMF stability and minimum drift problems caused by insulation impurities. The thermocouples are available in standard and special calibration limits for types K, J, E, and T per ASTM E-230. Upon request all probes can be custom manufactured to meet special requirements.
At ARi Industries, the thermocouples are manufactured using mineral insulated (MI) cable. Use of this cable allows for bending of the sheath, and yields very long lengths of finished material. This enables the supply of most designs in any length or diameter required.
ARi's high temperature line of thermocouples are used in applications where standard thermocouples would fail due to excess heat or severe enviroments. By choosing certain materials, temperature measurements up to 2300° can be anchieved. ARi can provide a wide variety of wire combinations and sheath material to withstand the harshest demands.
Like the standard thermocouple line, the high temperature thermocouples are available with high grade, 99.4% minimum purity, MgO (magnesium oxide) insulators. In addition, the line is available with BeO (berylia oxide), HfO (Hafnia Oxide), and Al2O3 (Aluminum Oxide) insulators as well. Typically used, high temperature wire calibrations available include type B, C, D, R, and S.
For maximum temperature and durability the thermocouples with molybdenum, tantalum, titanium, tungsten, and platinum-rhodium sheaths can be supplied. As always, we can custom manufacture all of our probes to almost any length or diameter your application requires.
